Clinical Demand and Capacity System

Our demand and capacity system takes real-time data feeds from provider services and displays calculated metrics for operational and escalation management. It provides immediate information regarding surges in demand and capacity issues that affect local urgent care systems.

The analytic information generated by this system enables healthcare staff to make key decisions about pressures in healthcare services and about patient care.

The system also enables retrospective views of performance and has built in predictive values for the next two weeks of A&E attendances, admissions and ambulance activity.

GPs can also review and analyse lists of their patients so that they can see who has attended A&E or has been admitted to a ward, and why. This saves valuable time and enables GPs to identify which patients can be best treated out of hospital, to avoid unnecessary repeat admissions.

It is truly “live” and therefore replaces the hundreds of emails and calls that usually need to be made across a system. I can tell by midday where we will be at 6 pm and into the night by the patterning in my system.
