Involvement is a pioneering approach to healthcare engagement. It aims to reach and involve people in decisions relating to health and care, by building more effective patient and public participation.

Involvement is made up of:

  • Three regional, professional ‘networks’ in the West Midlands, East Midlands and East of England
  • Two online communities for professionals and lay experts, and patients and public, linked through this one-stop shop platform
  • One team of ‘navigators’

Our Vision

An England where excellence in healthcare participation is the norm, achieved through a connected regional and national network and developed using innovative approaches. Patient and public voices have a greater influence upon decisions relating to health and care, improving quality of services for all.

Our Mission

To build capacity and capability for effective patient participation, at-scale, across a range of organisations including the NHS and others involved in healthcare, the public sector, voluntary and community organisations and charities.
