Our People

Evidence Analysis Team provides high quality reviews of research-derived and practice-based evidence to support decision making and service transformation. The team prepares concise summaries and in-depth reviews, based on comprehensive searches and sound critical appraisal. In addition to specifically-commissioned bespoke reviews, the team conducts a series of methods reviews on topical themes relating to healthcare (such as outcomes-based commissioning and personal health budgets) and the Evidence Insights bulletin highlighting important new evidence for commissioners.
Strategic Analytics Team provides analytical services to health economies planning, initiating or evaluating major change programmes. The work of the team commonly takes four forms; descriptive analysis, prospective service modelling, retrospective analyses and quantitative evaluations.

Integration Analytics Team successfully develop systems to link and analyse health and social care data sets to deliver new insights for commissioners. The team is supporting two of the Better Care Fund Pioneer sites to understand how health and social care services are delivered in their local health economies. The analyses delivered have supported integrated planning by defining the proportion and characteristics of the small number of very high cost individuals who consume the most resources. The data can be used to develop new commissioning schemes targeting high cost service groups and to evaluate those that have been implemented.

Strategic Transformation Team are experts in working with clients who are planning complex service change across multiple organisations/sectors and patient groups. This encompasses running the process of stakeholder engagement to produce the ‘Case for Change’ leading to consultation and decision-making on transformation of service provision.
