Integration Analytics Team successfully develop systems to link and analyse health and social care data sets to deliver new insights for commissioners. The team is supporting two of the Better Care Fund Pioneer sites to understand how health and social care services are delivered in their local health economies. The analyses delivered have supported integrated planning by defining the proportion and characteristics of the small number of very high cost individuals who consume the most resources. The data can be used to develop new commissioning schemes targeting high cost service groups and to evaluate those that have been implemented.
Future Fit is a large-scale transformation programme in Shropshire (redesigning acute, community and primary care services).
Business Support provides support and administration to a team of 26 within the Strategy Unit which includes, requisitioning, external room bookings and events organising, diary management and project support. The team maintain a project system to capture current projects as well as projects in the pipeline and financial control and develops business protocols, templates and guidance for the department. They also provide HR advice and supports communications and marketing development.
