Stacey provides analytical support to major change programmes, modelling and evaluating the impact of proposed changes to healthcare services. She started her career over 10 years ago in cancer intelligence. After completion of a Master’s degree in Public Health she led an intelligence team at a Public Health Observatory.
As part of this role she was technical advisor for national Health Profiles produced by the Association of Public Health Observatories on behalf of the Department of Health and developed methodologies for indicators in the Public Health Outcomes Framework. She has run public health intelligence training programmes and developed analytical tools. Stacey’s recent work has focused on modelling potential reconfigurations of stroke services across Birmingham, Solihull and the Black Country on which the project sponsors commented “Their advice, expertise and approach has been invaluable”.
