Ruth specialises in large scale change programmes. An enthusiastic presenter and strong facilitator with a track record of developing strong relationships across health and social care, Ruth enjoys working with key stakeholders and supporting partnership working. She has a track record of providing senior programme co-ordination, including co-production with health and social care leaders.
She has led a variety of Strategy Unit work programmes across the West Midlands including support to track the progress of an innovative whole health economy transformation programme More recently, she has been focussing on the opportunities for community and primary care providers in a planned reduction in acute sector capacity. Ruth works hard to ensure that the learning is shared across organisations to enhance the experience of care for patients and service users. Her previous experience includes work in a range of strategic development and transformation roles in the West Midlands. Ruth has a Masters in Health Service Management and a degree in law. To support our work across increasingly complex organisational structures, Ruth has recently completed a Certificate in Health Service Governance. She is an advocate of robust evaluation to ensure learning is captured and embedded. Ruth is passionate about data and encourages innovation and evidenced-based decision making using all available sources.
