Do GP federations or primary care networks (PCNs) in your integrated care system (ICS) or sustainability and transformation partnership (STP) need help managing their money so they can focus on their patients?
NHS Midlands and Lancashire (NHS ML) offers a service that can be anything from paying invoices and monitoring funds utilisation to a full set of management accounts. From budget setting to presentations to Boards. We work with external accountants to sign off statutory accounts – and it’s much simpler and cheaper for primary care clients once we’re involved.
The best practice around financial control that is instilled in us as NHS accountants can really benefit our primary care colleagues.
If you want to know how we could support your local primary care organisations, please call me. We can talk you through our experience. We can share thoughts and knowledge of the ever changing PCN developments. We’re also happy to extend our offer to new clients if you know of federations or PCNs in need of our help.
If you want to know more please give me a call. I’m Jules Harrhy, NHS ML’s Deputy Director of Finance, and my number is 07816 071379, or just email me at Julie.harrhy@nhs.net
