We are excited to share that our Digital Data and Technology (DDaT) directorate has been formally presented with the prestigious Digital Skills Development Network’s ‘Towards Excellence in Digital Standards Level 2’ award.
Debbie Bywater, Chief Digital & Information Officer (CIO) at NHS Midlands and Lancashire commented on the team’s achievement, Debbie said, “We are extremely proud to have achieved Towards Excellence in Digital Standards Level 2, so soon after achieving Level 1 accreditation. The process has been a very positive experience and has provided us with an opportunity to reflect upon and recognise the good work we have undertaken to date and to identify opportunities for further improvement. It is a fantastic achievement that reflects the hard work, commitment and important contribution that every member of DDaT makes to NHS ML and to those organisations and communities we support.”
The Digital Skills Development Network accreditation is peer-assessed and requires organisations to demonstrate evidence capability and good practice against a wide range of criteria for the professional development of all its digital staff. Having already achieved levels 1 and 2, the team is currently working towards level 3.
