Welcome to the information governance service at NHS ML

Welcome to the NHS Midlands and Lancashire (ML) Information Governance (IG) Team. We support all aspects of data protection, freedom of information and environmental information requests.

Our size, scale and specialist expertise enable us to deliver unparalleled quality of service and resilience in all areas of information governance. We are powered by innovation, ideas, subject matter experts and strong leadership.

As part of the NHS, we specialise in health and social care integration, and we collaborate effectively across the healthcare community. We actively participate in local, regional and national information governance networks, allowing us to share our knowledge of system challenges, lessons learned, best practices and insights.
