We are delighted to announce that NHS Midlands and Lancashire (NHS ML) Nursing and Urgent Care Team has been shortlisted as finalist for the prestigious Patient Experience Network National Awards (PENNA) 2024! These awards are the UK’s only dedicated programme celebrating best practices in patient experience across all areas of health and social care.
NHS ML is particularly proud to be one of four finalists shortlisted for the Patient Contribution Award, which acknowledges the outstanding contributions of lived experience partner, Sarah Barley-McMullen, in the Midlands Long Covid Services Peer Review programme. Her insight and dedication have been instrumental in enhancing our approach to patient care, particularly in shaping services for those living with Long Covid.
We are eagerly awaiting the results, which will be revealed at the National Awards Ceremony on 3 October 2024.
