Director of Personalised Healthcare Commissioning
Linda is responsible for Personalised Healthcare Commissioning (PHC) services at NHS Midlands and Lancashire.
Involved with NHS ML since its inception, Linda has more than 25 years of public and commercial sector experience, working at strategic and operational levels in customer-focused settings. This has included working with a range of clients at local, regional, national and international levels, particularly through her consultancy work.
Under Linda’s leadership, PHC services and staff put patients at the heart of everything they do, and the service has grown to deliver high-quality care and is now the largest provider of All-Age Continuing Care services in England.
Having developed a bespoke fit-for-the-future case management system to enable flexibility and developments working directly with an industry-leading organisation, Linda’s team are now leading the way to identify future population health needs. This is crucial to driving our market management strategy of the care sector to inform emerging Integrated Care Systems (ICSs) of required investment and developments to best meet the needs of their aging populations.
This has seen Linda work closely with the private sector as well as new ICS leads to invest and stimulate market management and to help encourage collaborative working as part of new integrated ways of working.
Linda and the PHC team are moving to more collaborative work to support the new ICSs and their stakeholders, where we can deliver the benefits of our at-scale expertise to greater effect and impact.
