Business Reporting and Governance Lead

A qualified accountant with more than 30 years of experience in the industrial and commercial sector, Paul currently holds the crucial role of overseeing the business reporting activities and governance for integrated care boards’ cost of care expenditure with NHS Midlands and Lancashire (NHS ML), currently amounting to over £1 billion per annum.

Prior to his time with NHS ML, Paul spent the early part of his career in various financial and operational roles within a multinational chemical manufacturing business, later, expanding his expertise by contracting with a wide variety of engineering and consumer organisations.

This extensive background in finance and operations has been instrumental in Paul’s ability to effectively manage substantial budgets and maintain meticulous oversight of financial activities.

Joining NHS ML over 10 years ago at the point of its incorporation, Paul initially held a three-month contract focused on the Lancashire area.

His responsibilities gradually expanded to include the Liverpool and Sefton regions before eventually managing the entire business portfolio.

Paul’s unwavering commitment to the organisation has been a cornerstone of his tenure.
